Daily Dessert: A Book Signing with Caroline Schiff

Dessert doesn’t need a special occasion. On Saturday, November 7, join us at Talbott & Arding to welcome pastry chef and author Caroline Schiff for a signing of her new cookbook, Daily Dessert: Treats on Repeat.

From a little bake just for you to a cake worth gathering around, Daily Dessert celebrates the pleasure of making something sweet part of everyday life. There are treats to bake once and enjoy all week, desserts for breakfast, and recipes for days when you’d rather leave the oven off. Caroline brings a pastry chef’s experience and a generous, practical approach to the home kitchen, with plenty of encouragement to make dessert your own daily ritual.

A James Beard Outstanding Pastry Chef Award finalist and one of Food & Wine’s Best New Chefs of 2022, Caroline also spent part of her early career behind a Brooklyn cheese counter. We’re especially pleased to welcome a fellow cheesemonger with such a love of butter, cream and good things to eat.

Our pastry kitchen will prepare three recipes from the book and books will be available to purchase. Come meet Caroline, have your copy signed and find a little inspiration for your next bake.
