Producer Details

Jasper Hill Farm was founded in 2003 by brothers Andy and Mateo Kehler in Greensboro, Vermont, with a clear mission: to build a sustainable agricultural economy in the Northeast Kingdom by making world-class cheese. The Cellars at Jasper Hill, which opened in 2006, is the largest aging facility of its kind in the United States and houses cheeses from both the farm's own herd and a network of small partner dairies whose milk Jasper Hill buys at above-market rates. In doing so, they have helped revive and sustain the dairy farming community of a region that needed it.

Storage Tips

+

When you receive your cheese, unpack the order and refrigerate the items. We recommend using the cheese paper we send most of our products in to store the cheese. The cheese paper helps cover the items and stop them from drying out, while also allowing the cheese to breathe. Since cheese is mold, it's a living thing! If you cut off air circulation to the cheese, you can actually cause it to suffocate and spoil at a faster rate.

Shipping & Returns

We will always choose the option that gets your cheese to you at its best, you will be alerted at checkout if expedited shipping applies to your order.

Why You'll Love It

"The blue cheese for people who love blue cheese and the one that converts people who think they don't. Rich enough to stand alone with a glass of Sauternes and bold enough to anchor a whole cheese board."
